Cabin #3, and much like its neighbours — which is rather the point. Take whichever is open.
Inside: a queen and two bunk beds, so four sleep comfortably. A kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker, and plates, bowls, cups and wine glasses already in the cupboard. Starlink runs the whole property, so the wi-fi holds even this far up the valley.
The Mayfly faces east toward the Absarokas, so mornings start with the sun coming up over the ridgeline. Coffee out front is the move early in the day, and by afternoon that same spot is in the shade. As the sun goes down behind the cabin, the mountains out front hold the light a little longer.

Mayflies are the delicate, upright-winged insects most people picture when they think of fly fishing. Different species hatch on the Yellowstone from spring through fall, including Pale Morning Duns in early summer and Blue-Winged Olives on cool, cloudy days. They're the classic dry-fly hatch, and a fitting name for cabin #3.
