Cabin #2, and much like its neighbours — which is rather the point. Take whichever is open.
Inside: a queen and two bunk beds, so four sleep comfortably. A kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker, and plates, bowls, cups and wine glasses already in the cupboard. Starlink runs the whole property, so the wi-fi holds even this far up the valley.
Step out of the Caddis in the morning and you're looking right at the Absarokas as the sun comes up over them. By afternoon the cabin shades its own front, so it stays comfortable out there even on warm days. Evenings are quiet, with the last light on the mountains.

Caddisflies are small, moth-like insects with tent-shaped wings, and they're one of the most dependable hatches on the Yellowstone. The Mother's Day caddis hatch kicks off the spring, and through the summer they come off most evenings, often right around dinnertime. We named cabin #2 for it because it's the hatch you can count on.
Check out 10am — and we do our best on early arrivals and late departures, so just ask.
Leashed on the property, and pick up after them — we have two labs ourselves.
